Benefits and Performance of an Organic Remedial Strategy

PURPOSE: Present a new way of thinking about indigenous microbes; their life, needs and potential, using a practical application approach, to beneficially influence remediation performance using methods and strategies proven necessary to support life in all ecosystems on the planet Earth.

CONTENT: Evidence and scientific literature discussing practical microbial based strategies used in other industries, including health and oil/gas, will be presented in association with field case studies from the application of TPHenhanced at petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) contaminated sites that support application of these same strategies in the field of environmental remediation. In addition to discussing TerraStryke™ biostimulation additives, we also present deployment strategies using an ‘additive-cocktail’ solution combining our biostimulation additives with other non-toxic, proven remedial compounds.

DISCUSSION: An open discussion of the strategy presented and the field evidence shown to support the strategy will follow the presentation; as well as, introduction and brief summary of current research and development efforts with both private industry and several institutes of higher learning throughout North America.
